Biography
Andy was born and raised in England before deciding to move to Florida to complete an undergraduate education in Athletic Training. After graduation, he had the opportunity to pursue his soccer passion and was fortunate to play both within the U.S as well as internationally. After his playing career concluded, he decided to go back to school to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. Andy initially spent a number of years focusing on the Sports Medicine arm of orthopedics, however, he then transitioned to seeing patients in a general orthopedic setting, enabling him to see a wider scope of orthopedic conditions. Currently he balances his time between administrative duties and evaluating patients in the orthopedic urgent care setting.
Andy continues to enjoy sports and will spend most weekends on the sidelines watching his kids play soccer.

I've been going to OrthoCarolina since 2008 when i had a serious back problem and they corrected it. Occasionally since then I have gone back for cortisone injections for other ailments and everyone I've dealt with has been professional and truly caring. I especially want to point out Andy Hylton who has helped me numerous times and always done so with compassion, honesty and the highest medical standards. I would recommend him to anyone else who has a problem. Thank you
