With an abundance of free at-home workout resources at your fingertips, you'll find it much easier to get your sweat on.
Janelle Penatzer, Wellness Program Manager at the OrthoCarolina Wellness Center, gave us her top picks for a good at-home workout:
Fitness Blender
- What is it: A website and app that offers free workout videos led by trainers and programs, as well as access to meal plans. There is also a community forum for wellness support from other users.
- Types of workouts: Pretty much everything! You can filter to find workouts by the level of difficulty, body focus, equipment use and the type of exercise you're in the mood for. That includes anything from strength training to cardiovascular activity.
- Length of workouts: 5 minutes to over an hour
- Where to find it: Fitness Blender Website
Spark People
- What is it: A website and app that offers health and fitness expert content, including workout videos, articles, and recipes. It also includes a food tracker and a community where fitness experts and professionals can interact.
- Types of workouts: Yoga and Pilates, abs, various cardio exercises, and some targeted strength training
- Length of workouts: Most are under 20 minutes
- Where to find it: Spark People Website
eFit
- What is it: A fitness-based YouTube channel that offers a variety of workouts
- Types of workouts: There’s a heavy focus on yoga and Pilates workouts, but there are also some cardio workouts like kickboxing and cycling.
- Length of workouts: All are under 30 minutes
- Where to find it: YouTube
Fitness Type
- What is it: A fitness website that offers healthy recipes, as well as tips and a blog to help promote wellness. Fitness Type also has a YouTube channel with over 400 workouts.
- Types of workouts: There’s an emphasis on cardio, with videos aimed at HIIT and Tabata workouts. There are beginner and advanced workouts to pick from.
- Length of workouts: 15-45 minutes

- What is it: A YouTube channel that offers fitness tutorials, workouts and exercises that are designed to target weight loss and stress relief.
- Types of workouts: You’ll probably find whatever you are looking for on POPSUGAR Fitness. There are CrossFit and TRX workouts, strength training workouts as well as dance and cardio workouts.
- Length of workouts: 5-30 minutes
