OrthoCarolina - TECHNOLOGY OUTAGE UPDATE

Early this morning, Friday, July 19th, 2024, CrowdStrike, a third-party vendor that provides cyber protection, issued an update impacting many OrthoCarolina computers across the organization in addition to many other organizations globally.

Please note - this is NOT a cyber-attack.

CrowdStrike took immediate steps to identify, and isolate and a fix has been deployed.

OrthoCarolina is diligently working on a solution to diminish the impact on patient care. This outage is impacting clinical applications necessary for a seamless patient experience, and we are diligently prioritizing recovery.

The phone lines are down, however, MyChart is now live.
