Ginny Gatewood Hunter, MSPT

Biography

Ginny loves working in her hometown of Winston-Salem where she has served as a physical therapist with OrthoCarolina since 2021. Prior to that, she worked in pediatric, acute and skilled nursing settings. Ginny received her BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and her MS in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia at VCU. She always wanted to be a ballerina, but when natural talent did not emerge she leaned into a career in physical medicine. She enjoys this fulfilling career and takes enjoyment in healing the whole person in addition to the orthopedic concern. She's the mom of three adult boys and loves spending time with family, taking long walks with her cocker spaniel, and playing USTA tennis.
