Tammy Dersham PT, MPT, ATC

Biography

Tammy Dersham is originally from Fairmont, West Virginia. She graduated from Catawba College with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and was also a member of the softball team. She received a Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Western Carolina University where she was a graduate assistant for the Athletic Training Education Program. After obtaining her physical therapy license, Tammy worked in several private practice orthopedic outpatient clinics in Georgia and Virginia before joining the OrthoCarolina team in the spring of 2017. Tammy joined the Toyota Performance Center team in June 2020 through OrthoCarolina Motorsports. She specializes in sports-related injuries, and post-op rehabilitation, and is certified in dry needling and blood flow restriction.
